AEW Dynamite Results 5/28 - AEW International Championship Four-Way Qualifier Match, Adam Page Appears

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s results for "AEW Dynamite" on May 28, 2025, coming to you live from the El Paso County Coliseum in El Paso, Texas!

After him and his Don Callis Family stablemates Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita emerged victorious over Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, and Kyle O'Reilly of The Paragon at AEW Double or Nothing this past Sunday, Josh Alexander will be returning to action tonight as he goes head-to-head with Brody King in an AEW International Championship Four-Way Qualifier Match. The winner will earn a spot in an upcoming Four-Way Match, with a shot at the title currently held by Kenny Omega at the upcoming "Dynamite" Fyter Fest special on June 4.

"Hangman" Adam Page secured the opportunity to face Will Ospreay in the finals of the 2025 Men's Owen Hart Cup Tournament, having defeated the aforementioned Alexander in the quarterfinals and the aforementioned Fletcher in the semifinals. He ultimately defeated Ospreay this past Sunday at Double or Nothing, landing a clothesline and a pair of Buckshot Lariats in the closing moments of the bout. In light of such, Page will appearing on tonight's edition of "Dynamite" with something on his mind to share.

As of writing, no other matches have been announced for "Dynamite" but there is sure to be some further fallout from Double or Nothing. Mercedes Mone emerged victorious in the 2025 Women's Owen Hart Cup Tournaments to earn the right to challenge for the AEW Women's World Championship respectively, while Toni Storm retained said title, Kazuchika Okada retained the AEW Continental Championship and The Hurt Syndicate retained the AEW Tag Team Championship. Ricochet also defeated Mark Briscoe in a Stretcher Match, and Willow Nightingale, The Opps, Swerve Strickland, and the aforementioned Omega defeated The Death Riders and The Young Bucks in Anarchy In The Arena.

We are live! Excalibur, Taz, and Ian Riccaboni greet audiences at home as Tony Schiavone introduces "Hangman" Adam Page and he makes his way to the ring.

We Hear From Adam Page

Schiavone addresses Page winning the 2025 Men's Owen Hart Cup Tournament, and Page says triumph is fleeting. He says you're on top of the moment, but then you wake up and the moment has passed. He says he's lost sight of that the last three years, and it's not the win or loss that mattered but rather what you decide that does.

Page thanks Will Ospreay for giving him the fight of his life, and says while one of them had to lose, the other would taste victory. He says he won't be defending the Owen Hart Cup Tournament Championship and hands the belt over to Schiavone, then says he could stay in the ring all night and say how much winning the 2025 Men's Owen Hart Cup Tournament. He says it's about one thing now, and that's the AEW World Championship.

Page says that AEW is about creativity and passion, then says on his first day in the company, he told fans that while he was part of AEW, they would be his boss. He promises to win the AEW World Championship and free it from the briefcase it's been in. He says he'll hold it above his head and defend it with every ounce of his being.

Swerve Strickland's music hits, and he makes his way out. Strickland throws it to a clip from the April 9 edition of "Dynamite" explaining that they cost Strickland his match for the AEW World Championship against Jon Moxley at AEW Dynasty just for Page and saying that they do not forget who their friends are. Strickland says he had his match at Dynasty won, then asks Page if he really told The Bucks to cost him.

Page vows that he never told The Bucks that, then says he would've done it before. Strickland says Page is "full of s***".

Ospreay's music hits, and he makes his way out as Page and Strickland stare one another down. Ospreay looks to calm the two men, then stares them both down and tells Strickland he hates getting involved in his business. He says he views Strickland as his big brother, He says the stakes were no higher than they were on Sunday, but he lost. He says Page had a choice after their match at Double or Nothing, but he still chose to shake Ospreay's hand and he knows that Page really does care about AEW. He says people are starting to believe in them, then says Page is the one who can ultimately save AEW. Ospreay proposes that himself, Page, and Strickland work together, but Strickland says he will never work with Page and heads to the back.

The Death Riders and Gabe Kidd then make their way to the ring. Willow Nightingale, Mark Briscoe, and "Speedball" Mike Bailey follow.

Marina Shafir, Jon Moxley, and Gabe Kidd (w/ Wheeler Yuta) vs. Willow Nightingale, Mark Briscoe and Speedball Mike Bailey in a Mixed Trios Match

Kidd and Briscoe begin the action. The bell rings and the two fire off right hands on one another. Marina Shafir begins brawling with Nightingale as Speedball rains down right hands on Moxley. Briscoe sets up a chair, then uses it as a launch pad to level Moxley and Kidd on the outside.

Back from the break, Shafir tags in and fires off kicks on Briscoe's chest as Moxley holds him in place. Moxley and Speedball then tag in, and Speedball lands a missile dropkick on Moxley. Speedball delivers a Scissor Kick to Moxley's spine and follows it up with a standing moonsault, then rocks him with a kick on his jaw.

Nightingale and Shafir tag in, and Nightingale levels Shafir with a series of clotheslines. She follows it up with a Hip Attack and levels Shafir with a boot, then connects with a spinebuster and goes for a pin. Kidd breaks the fall, but Briscoe clotheslines him out of the ring. Shafir delivers a German suplex to Speedball, then levels Shafir with a clothesline and tags in Speedball.

Moxley tags in on his side, but Yuta slides a chair into the ring as a distraction. He pushes Speedball off the top rope, and Kidd then sends him crashing through the timekeeper's table.

Back from another break, Moxley tags in and exchanges strikes with Speedball. Kidd tags in and knocks Briscoe on the apron as we see Kris Statlander watching the action from backstage. Briscoe tags in and fires off forearms on Kidd, but Kidd bites Briscoe and fires off chops and headbutts on him. Briscoe dropkicks Kidd through the ropes and flies to level Moxley, and Speedball delivers a springboard moonsault to level Kidd on the outside.

Claudio Castagnoli hops up on the apron, but Komander walks the ropes and levels Castagnoli. Briscoe rolls up Moxley, but Moxley kicks out and lands a DDT on Briscoe. Kidd cinches in a crossface on Speedball as Shafir has a submission of her own locked in on Nightingale. The referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Marina Shafir, Jon Moxley, and Gabe Kidd

Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford then make their way to the ring. Harley Cameron and Anna Jay follow.

Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford vs. Harley Cameron and Anna Jay in a No Disqualification Tag Team Match

The bell rings and Jay tosses Ford into the barricade as Bayne beats down Cameron inside the ring. Ford rocks Jay with a right hand, then sends her crashing into the barricade. Cameron delivers a DDT to Ford back in the ring and pins her, but Bayne breaks the fall.

Jay grabs a 2 by 4 piece of wood and stares down Bayne, but Cameron hits her with a pipe. Jay grabs a chair and hits Bayne, then continues taking shots at her with it as Cameron does the same using the pipe. Bayne is sent crashing into a golden chair she brought to the ring face first, and Cameron and Jay then double team on Ford as they send her crashing into a chair spine first. Cameron and Jay then set up a table on the outside of the ring.

Back from the break, Cameron and Bayne brawl on the apron near the table Cameron and Jay had set up on the outside. Cameron looks to powerbomb Bayne off the apron with some assistance from Jay, and Jay hits Bayne with the golden chair to help Cameron powerbomb her through the table.

Inside the ring, Ford lays Jay on top of a chair and looks to land a moonsault. Jay rolls out of the way and Ford is sent crashing into the chair, but Bayne sends Cameron crashing into the ring steps face first. Jay then delivers a Gory Bomb to Ford on top of a chair and goes for a pin, but Bayne breaks the fall. Bayne sends Jay crashing into a chair with an F5 and goes for a pin, but Cameron breaks the fall. Cameron is then caught by a spear from Bayne, and Bayne gets Cameron up on her shoulders. Ford delivers a clothesline to Cameron off the top as Bayne delivers a Japanese Ocean Cyclone suplex to her for the win.

Winner: Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford

The Opps then make their way to the ring. The Frat House follows.

The Opps vs. Preston Vance, Cole Karter, and Griff Garrison (w/ The Frat House)

Vance and Samoa Joe begin the action. The bell rings and Joe fires off a chop on Vance. Katsuyori Shibata and Garrison tag in and exchange strikes with one another, but Shibata lands a dropkick on Garrison in the corner. Powerhouse Hobbs and Karter tag in, and Hobbs fires off clotheslines on Karter repeatedly.

Other members of The Frat House try to get in the ring, but Hobbs takes them all down. Hobbs levels Vance with a spinebuster and delivers a second one to Karter for the win.

Winners: The Opps

Renee Paquette introduces Jamie Hayter, and she makes her way out. Paquette asks Hayter if she knows what's next for her, but before Hayter can answer, the lights go out. When they come back on, Thekla is standing in the ring and levels Hayter.

The Don Callis Family then make their way to the ring. 

Adam Cole (c) vs. Kyle Fletcher (w/ Don Callis and Lance Archer) for the TNT Championship

The bell rings and the two lock up. Fletcher mocks Cole by hitting his signature pose, then whips him into the corner spine first and dumps him out of the ring. Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta run down to the ring and get in Cole's face, but Roderick Strong and Kyle O'Reilly follow behind them to brawl with Beretta and Romero to the back.

Back from the break, Cole fires off forearms on Fletcher and levels him with a pair of back elbows. He catches him with a boot and connects with a shoulderbreaker on him, then sets up for the Panama Sunrise. Fletcher counters into a back body drop and a German suplex, but Cole responds with a second shoulderbreaker to Fletcher and follows it up with the Panama City Sunrise. Josh Alexander appears out of nowhere and attacks Cole, causing the disqualification.

Winner (and still): Adam Cole

After the match, Alexander bites Cole. Brody King makes his way to the ring with a chair in hand and slides inside the ring.

The bell rings and King fires off chops and forearms on Alexander in the corner. King connects with a back body drop on Alexander, then stuffs his towel into Alexander's face and fires off clotheslines on him. He sends Alexander crashing onto the floor, but Alexander lands a chop on King. King sends Alexander crashing into one of the barricades spine first, then lands a second clothesline on Alexander.

Alexander and King return inside the ring, but King sends Alexander crashing back out of the ring. Alexander connects with an overhand chop on King as he's draped across the ring apron, then sends him crashing onto the floor. Alexander then sends King crashing into the ring steps.

Back from the break, King delivers a German suplex to Alexander and levels him with a clothesline. He gets Alexander up on his shoulders, but Alexander escapes and lands a German suplex on King on the apron. King sits Alexander on a chair and delivers a chop to him, then connects with a crossbody on him and looks to deliver a cannonball in the corner on Alexander. Alexander avoids it and cinches in an Ankle Lock on King, but King escapes by firing off kicks on Alexander's head. Alexander ascends to the top and looks to land a moonsault on King, but King gets his knees up and turns Alexander inside out with a clothesline. He then delivers a piledriver to Alexander for the win.

Winner: Brody King

Mercedes Mone then makes her way to the ring.

Toni Storm and Mercedes Mone Meet With One Another

Mone brags about winning the 2025 Women's Owen Hart Cup Tournament, then calls herself the greatest winner of the tournament and continues to brag.

Toni Storm's music hits, and she makes her way to the ring. Storm says she's waited a long time for Mone, then says 441 days ago, Mone arrived in AEW on a show named after her. She says Mone has since won championships, made history, and remained undefeated. Storm says Mone has said she's been watching her before coming to AEW, then says she told Tony Khan this was the one match she wanted to have and asks her what took so long.

Mone says it was all patience, then says this isn't about Storm but rather her own legacy. She calls herself the legacy and the revolution, and Storm says she is the Toni Storm of professional wrestling. She says Mone has never met anyone like her, and Mone says Storm is very different than the girl she met 10 years ago. She says she's not a boss anymore, but a CEO.

Storm says she shares many similarities with Mone in regards to their journeys in the professional wrestling business, then says they both became who they were meant to be in AEW. She says the one glaring difference between her and Mone is that while Mone wants all the titles, she only needs the AEW Women's World Championship. She says she's lived, cried, bled, and died for the title, then says in 45 days, they will meet again in Texas at AEW All In. She says somewhere in the world, a little girl with big dreams will watch the two of them in awe and find out who the better women is. She says she sincerely believes Mone is the greatest of all time, but she still happens to be "Timeless". Mone tells Storm that she call herself "Timeless", but she deserves for her time to come to an end.

Mone and Storm stare one another down, and Mone extends her hand to Storm. Storm shakes it, but Mone pulls Storm in close. Storm sniffs Mone and kisses her hand, but Mone sets up for a Gory Bomb on Storm. Storm reverses into a Storm Zero, but Mone rolls out of the ring before she can deliver the move as the show goes off the air.
