WWE Superstars Recap: Brodus Clay Vs. Primo, Prime Time Players Vs. Usos, More

The first Superstars of 2013 is the first stop on the rocky road to Wrestlemania, according to the announcers.

Prime Time Players vs. The Usos

Jimmy Uso and Daren Young start things off. Young takes control early and does the millions of dollars dance. Jimmy hits a big strike to the face, and Jay comes in for a two count.

Young mounts some offense with a couple headbutts, but Jay dances around and fends off Young's comeback. PTP head to the outside for a breather and Jimmy flies over the top rope, taking them out.

Back from commercial and Young is back in control. Titus O'Neil comes in and hits a couple big uppercuts. Young comes back in and PTP hits a double shoulder takedown for a two count. O'Neil comes back in and presses the attack. He hits a big boot on Jay for a two count.

PTP work on Jay, and tag in and out several times. O'Neil works on the neck of Jay with several headlocks. O'Neil charges Jay, but Jay hits a boot to the face. He tags in Jimmy, who comes in hot. He hits the running hip attack on Young. Jimmy picks Young up for a Samoan Drop, but O'Neil tags himself in.

Jimmy kicks Young in the face, and then O'Neil comes in and tries to attack Jimmy from behind. Jimmy and Jay switch out with some twin magic and hit the Double Samoan Splash for the win.

Winners: The Usos

After the match, The Usos do the millions of dollars dance.

Back from commercial, and a recap of the doctor segment with CM Punk from Raw is shown, where Vince McMahon announces that if CM Punk doesn't defend his title in a TLC Match against Ryback on Raw next week, that Paul Heyman will take his place.

Then, a recap is shown from Raw, where The Shield was set to take on Ryback in a 3 on 1 handicap match. Before the match could take place however, The Shield attacked Ryback on the ramp. Sheamus and Randy Orton both ran out to even the numbers up, and sent The Shield out of the ring.

Brodus Clay vs. Primo with Epico and Rosa Mendes

They tie up and Clay laughs at Primo. Clay flips Primo over and nails some big headbutts to the back. Clay then bounces Primo's head off the turnbuckle several times.

Primo hits a dropkick to the knee, and presses the attack on Clay. He goes for a cover, but Clay throws him off. Primo locks in a chin lock, but Clay fights him off and hits a Fisherman's Suplex, throwing him across the ring.

Primo attempts the Backstabber and misses. Clay hits the running splash for the win.

Winner: Brodus Clay

After the match, Clay dances with a bunch of kids in the ring.

Dolph Ziggler and AJ Lee's New Year's Eve Toast from Raw on Monday is then shown to end the show, where Cena comes out and ruins the event by talking trash and dumping some suspicious brown stuff on the couple.
