Lots Of Mick Foley "Wing-Gate" Media, Super Bowl Viewing Party, WrestleMania Axxess, Sgt. Slaughter
- In the video above, WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter talks to FOX 26 KMPH in California about WrestleMania Axxess at the San Jose Convention Center. Tickets for the event went on sale to the general public today.
- I know it's not wrestling related, but since we have such a great community here at Wrestling INC, this Sunday we will have our first-ever Super Bowl Viewing Party. While we won't be providing live coverage of the event, you can post your ongoing feedback during the game.
- As noted earlier, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley was ejected from the Wing Bowl 23 competition at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA this past Friday for stuffing uneaten chicken wings into a fanny pack. The Associated Press wrote a story on "Wing-Gate," which has since been posted by several major media outlets. It's amazing looking at the comments on many of the websites at how many people are taking the incident seriously. It was clearly a tongue-in-cheek stunt, and Foley had posted the following before the event:
Getting ready to rock @WIPWingBowl tomorrow! I will follow the wrestler's creed: win if I can, lose if I must, but always cheat!
