Ethan Carter III Talks His Feelings On Bill DeMott, If Talent Is Happier With Jason Albert

Bill DeMott resigned from his position as head NXT trainer amid criticisms of bullying last month, as several former trainees came out of the woodwork to share their experiences. One of the most outspoken was TNA star Ethan Carter III, who spent years working for WWE. We had the chance to speak with EC3 about DeMott, and Matt Bloom taking his place.

"I think Matt Bloom is going to be a great trainer for them. I've never met the guy, but I've heard he's a passionate, great guy. About DeMott, it is what it is, and that's what Bill would say a lot?'it is what it is.' I know that about 85 people are a lot happier now, and I guess that's cool," EC3 said.

Bloom, formerly known as Jason Albert, A-Train and Tensai took over immediately before NXT's presence in Columbus at the Arnold Classic. The company was performing live tryouts at the event, and Bloom was an integral part of the show.

During a Reddit AMA last month, EC3 was asked if he had any fun Bill DeMott stories, to which he replied "Yea, him being forced to resign last week."

Starting tomorrow, we'll have much more on our interview with EC3. He goes on to talk about working through his injury, transitioning from WWE to TNA, Hardcore Justice, working with Bram and Mr. Anderson, as well as TNA being influenced by popular TV shows.
