WWE Main Event Recap: Shining Stars Get A Win, Curtis Axel, Darren Young, Bo Dallas Vs. Sin Cara

The Main Event opening video kicks off the show after the usual WWE signature. Sin Cara and Bo Dallas make their entrances as Tom Philips and Byron Saxton check in on commentary.

Bo Dallas vs. Sin Cara

They lock up. Sin Cara hits an arm drag on Dallas. Sin Cara briefly locks in a waist lock, Dallas elbows him in the face. Sin Cara ducks a clothesline attempt, prior to hitting springboard arm drag on Dallas. Dallas rolls out of the ring. Sin Cara dropkicks Dallas through the ropes. Sin Cara hits an Asai Moonsault from the second rope to the outside on Dallas. Sin Cara rolls Dallas back in the ring. Dallas strikes Sin Cara while he's on the apron. Dallas hits a neck breaker on Sin Cara, spiking his neck on the top rope and sending him to the outside in the process. Dallas drives his hip into Sin Cara at ringside before rolling him back into the ring and pinning him for a one count. Dallas locks in a headlock, Sin Cara fights out of it. Sin Cara sends Dallas head first into the second turnbuckle. Sin Cara hits a cross body, followed by a springboard elbow and springboard moonsault on Dallas. Sin Cara pins Dallas for a two count. Sin Cara hits a modified slam on Dallas. Dallas moves out of the way of a Senton attempt by Sin Cara before elbowing him in the face. Dallas hits a spinning neck breaker on Sin Cara prior to pinning him for the win.

Winner: Bo Dallas

The Shining Stars (Primo & Epico) vs. Curtis Axel & Darren Young (w/Bob Backlund)

Axel and Epico start the match. Epico breifly locks in a waist lock, Axel reverses it into a waist lock of his own. Axel eventually locks in a wrist lock, Epico elbows him in the face. Axel dropkicks Epico. Young is tagged in. Young comes off the top rope with a double axe handle to Epico. Young hits a scoop slam on Epico before tagging Axel back in. Axel comes off the second rope with an elbow to Epico prior to pinning him for a two count. Young is tagged back in. Young hits a swinging neck breaker on Epico prior to pinning him for a two count. Young locks in a headlock, Epico eventually fights out of it. Young locks in another headlock on Epico. Epico sends Young to the ropes, Young returns with a shoulder block. Young hits an inverted atomic drop on Epico. Epico leaves the ring as Primo enters it. Axel punches Primo from the apron before Young hits an atomic drop on him. Axel and Young clothesline Primo over the top rope to the outside as we head into a commercial break.

Axel reverses a scoop slam attempt from Epico into an arm drag as we return from the commercial. Axel briefly locks in an arm submission on Epico before tagging Young back in. Young and Axel hit a double elbow to the face of Epico. Young pins Epico for a two count. Young hits a rolling slow on Epico. Epico slides out of the ring. Bob Backlund scares Epico back into the ring. Young row Epico up for a two count. Young strikes Primo to take him off the apron. Epico sends Young shoulder first into the ring post. Primo is tagged in. Primo stomps Young. Young rolls to the outside. Primo rolls Young back into the ring before pinning him for a two count. Epico tags back in and hits a Senton on Young before pinning him for a two count. Epico drives his knee into Young's back. Young strikes Primo. Young chops Epico. Epico dodges an attack by Young prior to hitting clothesline. Epico pins Young for a two count. Young is eventually able to hit an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on Epico. Primo is tagged in, as is Axel. Axel hits a pair of clotheslines on Primo before sending him into the corner. Axel elbows Primo. Epico gets in the ring, as does Young. Young sends Epico out of the ring. Young exits the ring as Primo rolls up Axel for a two count. Epico drives Young into the apron. Axel sets Primo on the apron. Primo reverses a suplex attempt by Axel into a cross body. Primo pins Axel as Epico holds his foot down for the three count.

Winners: The Shining Stars (Primo & Epico)
