Tonight features: Jon Moxley appearing live, Cody Rhodes takes on Sammy Guevara, Adam Page vs. PAC, MJF goes up against Brandon Cutler, Nyla Rose faces Riho to crown the first-ever AEW Women's World Champion, and The Young Bucks & Kenny Omega vs. AEW World Champion Chris Jericho, Santana, & Ortiz.

- Justin Roberts is out before the show goes live and welcomes everyone to the show. Roberts introduces Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone, and Excalibur as the commentators for tonight's show.

- On TNT, Kenny Omega (who still seems out of it like in Being the Elite) and The Young Bucks hype tonight's match against Chris Jericho, Santana, and Ortiz. In another locker room (a clean shaven) Jericho stands next to his partners to hype "the biggest match ever."

- Dark Match: Darby Allin defeated CIMA with a Coffin Drop.

- Pyro get us started! Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone, and Excalibur welcome fans as preview all the matches on tonight's show.

- Vignette for Cody Rhodes vs. Sammy Guevara is shown. Rhodes says Guevara is "full of potential" and Guevara doesn't want to hear that, he's ready now. Cody says he's not looking over Guevara as his title match against Chris Jericho approaches, but he also doesn't want to get embarrassed. Guevara notes this is the biggest match of his career. Rhodes says if he loses that could change up the AEW Full Gear PPV.

Cody (with Brandi Rhodes) vs. Sammy Guevara

Cody gets big pops from the crowd, "Cody" chant rings out as he and Brandi hype the crowd in the ring. Guevara gets some boos from the crowd as he makes his way to the ring. Collar and elbow tie up goes into the rope, clean break. Crowd with a "Sammy sucks!" chant. Guevara takes down Cody, tries for a couple pins, doesn't get much of anything on either one. Cody bails out to the floor for a moment as he gets back in, Guevara taunts him a bit, tries for a superkick, but nobody home.

Guevara leaps and then hits a backflip over Cody, dropkick, standing moonsault, cover, two-count. Cody with a side headlock, shoulder tackle, Guevara with a kip-up and slap to the face. Cody with the drop down punch to the face, spinning powerslam, cover, two-count. Back and forth chops. Cody with a delayed vertical suplex. Cody with a bunch of push-ups, but eats a spinning heel kick to the face. Cody with a springboard cutter, pin, two, tries again, no luck. Guevara with a springboard cutter of his own from the apron, cover, two.

Cody sends Guevara out to the floor. Brandi barking at Guevara. Cody goes for a suicide dive and Guevara pulls Brandi in front of him and she takes the brunt of that attack. Brandi gets up and says she's okay as she shakes it off. Crowd with an "a-hole" chant. Back in the ring, Guevara tries for a moonsault, lands on his feet, tries standing moonsault, lands on his feet again, goes for a third and hits that, cover, two.

Guevara dropped on the second rope, Brandi smacks him in the head with her shoe. Cody with a disaster kick that turns Sammy inside out, cover, two-count. Guevara put up on the top turnbuckle (back to the ring), avalanche reverse suplex, cover, two! Cody getting a little frustrated now. Guevara eats a back elbow, Cody to the top rope, Guevara leaps up with him, hits a spanish fly, cover, two! Guevara goes up for a shooting star press, Cody gets the knees up, inside cradle for the 1-2-3.

- Post-match, Schiavone gets in the ring to talk with Cody. An emotional Cody hugs Schiavone and goes to talk with him, but Guevara shoves Cody. He then puts his hand out and the two shake hands. From behind, Chris Jericho runs out and attacks Cody. Guevara just shrugs and heads to the back. Jericho drops Cody again, then lifts the title and smiles. He nails a codebreaker on Cody as we go to a split-screen commercial. Jericho taunts a bit more, goes to leave, but comes back and smacks Cody in the head with the title. Jericho grabs one of the ringside photographers cameras and takes a selfie. Cody out on the floor near the timekeeper table and gets whacked on the back with a chair. He then sets two chairs up next to each other and powerbombs Cody on the two of them. He then just dumps a bunch of stuff on Cody, yanks the mic from Schiavone, then shoves him, too! Jericho says, "I am Chris Jericho and I am the champion of AEW. You're welcome!"

MJF vs. Brandon Cutler

Before getting to the ring, MJF says to cut his music. He barks at the crowd, says he's the fastest rising star. Crowd gives him an "a-hole" chant. "Tonight, you losers, get the distinct honor of seeing how a star is born." He says Cutler clearly got lost trying to find his seat behind the guardrail, calls him a loser. MJF tells Cutler, D&D might not be right, but what's very real is he's better than Cutler, and he knows it. MJF toys with Cutler, trips him, slap to the face. Cutler with a backflip off the top rope and slap to the face of his own. Cutler flips over the apron for a sunset flip into a pin, two. Cutler with a fireman's carry, but MJF sneaks in an eye rake.

Cutler gets sent into the ring post. MJF taunts a bit. Schiavone says they are supposed to be neutral but wants to see Cutler beat this "prick." JR notes this is TV-14. MJF talks some trash, but ends up getting send out to the floor. Cutler with a big old suicide dive right into a bunch of punches to the face. Back in the ring, Cutler goes up top and his knee gives out. He goes at MJF, but pulls the referee in front of him. Cutler stops, MJF with a cheap shot, locks in a Fujiwara Armbar on Cutler and he taps out.

Winner: MJF via Submission

- Chris Van Vliet talks with Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes at ringside and the two talk about Chris Jericho being in their latest film. Angelico and Jack Evans to talk some trash. Mewes says they aren't even good enough to win a match! Private Party heads over to check on Smith and Mewes and tell Angelico/Evans to back off.

- Outside the White House, SCU says this is the worst town they've ever been in. They basically introduce themselves and where they are from. Cut to the stage with Schiavone and SCU. Scorpio Sky announces that Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian will be in the tag tournament. Out strolls Pentagon Jr. and Fenix, Fenix says they are the best tag team in the universe. Pentagon gives them "cero miedo" and SCU gives them an "SCU!" The two sides start fighting, but get separated by Atlas Security, Dean Malenko, and a bunch of referees.

- Backstage, Kenny, The Young Bucks, Chris Jericho, Santana, and Ortiz get ready for tonight's main event.

- Commentary team has been solid tonight, especially Tony Schiavone, he's been on point and even doing interviews away from commentary on multiple occasions.

"Hangman" Adam Page vs. PAC

Strong shots get us started, crowd in support of Page for this one. PAC spinning heel kicks land, but eats a boot to the face, Page returns fire with a discus lariat. Crowd with a "Cowboy s—!" chant. Both wrestlers out on the floor, PAC gets launched into the barricade a couple times. Back in the ring, Page with a fallaway slam, kip up, running moonsault, cover, two.

PAC with an asai moonsault off the second rope and out to the floor on Page. PAC tosses him back in the ring, springboard 450 splash by PAC, cover, two. PAC with a low dropkick in the corner, heads to the top rope, but Page stops him. Page heads up to the second rope with a fallaway slam, dropkick in the corner, flapjack, pin, two-count. PAC then launches Page straight into the ring post. JR giving the fans a heads up (twice now) that a commercial is coming, but it'll be split-screen. PAC sends Page into the barricade. PAC really beating up Page right now in the ring, kick to the head, continues to work him over.

Page finally gets some offense with a big spinebuster, tries for the dead eye, PAC grabs the rope and ends up on the apron. PAC springboards back in and eats an elbow, powerbomb, cover, two. PAC attempts to go to the floor and Page hits a big moonsault down on PAC. PAC sent back into the ring, avoids a buckshot lariat and the two nearly crash into Earl Hebner, PAC able to kick Page between the legs when Earl was distracted. PAC up to the top, black arrow on Page's back, right into the brutalizer submission. Page is out and Earl ends up calling for the bell!

Winner: PAC via Referee's Stoppage (Submission)

- Britt Baker joins commentary for tonight's AEW Women's World Championship Match between Nyla Rose and Riho.

Nyla Rose vs. Riho (AEW Women's World Championship)

Rose charges in and misses, Riho swings away, ducks another punch, and swings away. Riho with a dropkick, another one, hurricanrana sends Rose down for a moment. Rose drops Riho, pin, Riho bridges up and under it, kicks to the back. Riho tries for a double stomp and Rose just ends up standing up and launching Riho off her. Rose with a kick to the back and a reverse chinlock, Riho gets to the bottom rope to break it. Rose with a delayed vertical suplex, but Riho is able to escape it. Rose with a back elbow, tries for a suplex, Riho with elbows, running knee strikes that sends Rose out to the floor.

Riho up to the top rope, crossbody and Rose catches her in midair! Rose with a backbreaker. Rose goes for a chair and looks to swing it on Riho right in front of the referee, who grabs the chair. Rose then launches Riho into the barricade a couple times. Rose now pulling out a pile of chairs (this isn't No DQ, so not sure what Rose is doing). She puts Riho on the pile of chairs on the floor. Rose looks for a senton off the apron, nobody home, Rose crashes on the chairs. Riho then hits a double stomp off the apron. Back in the ring Riho continues to work over Rose.

Rose really beating up Riho during the commercial break. Riho attempts a back body drop and can't quite do it, Rose drops down on her. Back and forth forearms, Riho gets dropped for a moment, gets up and throws more shots, but eats a boot to the face. Rose tries for a powerbomb, Riho sneaks under with a roll-up, very close three! Rose hits a death valley driver for only a two count, crowd really into this one, thought it was over. Rose heads up to the top rope, Riho follows with tons of forearms. She hits a superplex off the second rope! Cover, two. Crowd is on their feet now. Riho with double knees to the back, another to the face, cover, 1-2-3! Riho is the champ!

Winner: Riho via pinfall to win the AEW Women's World Championship

- Post-match, Michael Nakazawa comes out with a microphone to interview Riho in Japanese. Rose comes back in the ring and destroy Nakazawa with a big powerbomb. Rose then goes to hit a death valley driver on Riho on the apron, but Kenny Omega runs out to stop her. Rose heads off to the back.

Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks vs. Chris Jericho, Santana, and Ortiz

Jericho and Omega start things off, nope, Jericho tags out to Santana. Omega with a kick to the chest, follows it up with a chop, basement dropkick, and Santana goes out to the floor. Ortiz comes in and gets sent out too. Jericho then tries to get in on the action, almost locks in walls of jericho, but eats double superkicks by The Young Bucks. Nick Jackson with a twisting senton over the top rope on Santana and Ortiz.

Omega looking to fly, but comes Jon Moxley! Omega turns around and gets mauled by Jon Moxley. Moxley sends Omega into the crowd and swings away on him. Those two fight on as things are still going on in the ring. Jericho beats up on Nick. Moxley bites away at Omega as they go deeper into the arena. Omega with a broomstick to the back, he cleans up the floor a little bit, then swings away on Moxley's back. Omega and Moxley fighting in the VIP area. Moxley hits dirt deeds on Omega through a glass coffee table! Moxley yells, "Say something!" at Omega as we go to break.

Back in the ring, it's The Young Bucks dealing with three opponents. Matt looks to tag out, but Santana sweeps Nick's legs out from under him. Santana with a springboard crossbody, Ortiz crossbody, Santana standing moonsault, Ortiz with a dive and just lays there for a cocky pin, two-count. Jericho looks for a lionsault, but Matt gets the knees up. Matt with northern lights suplex on Santana, then hits a double suplex on both Santana and Ortiz. Crowd very much behind The Young Bucks. Nick tags in, knocks Jericho off the apron. Hits multiple kicks and knees on Santana and Ortiz. Nick with a kick to Jericho's face, drops Ortiz, step-up twisting senton on Santana! Santana back in the ring, Matt tagged in, they look to finish Santana off, but Jericho runs in for a codebreaker on Nick. Judas effect on Matt hits, 1-2-3.

Winners: Chris Jericho, Santana, and Ortiz via Pinfall

- Post-match, Cody runs out and swings away on Jericho. He then drops both Santana and Ortiz. Guevara runs out and lowblows Cody. Dustin Rhodes then runs out and helps even the odds. He lowblows Guevara! From out of nowhere comes Jake Hager (fka WWE's Jack Swagger). He goes after Dustin, Cody, Nick, and Matt. Hits a big vader bomb on Cody, then gutwrench suplexed Dustin on the timekeeper's table. Cody gets picked back up and Jericho hits the judas effect. The heels stand tall to close out the night.
