WWE 205 Live Recap (10/18): Triple Threat Main Event, Jack Gallagher In Action

Oney Lorcan vs. Tony Nese vs. Ariya Daivari in a Triple Threat Match.

The show begins with Drake Maverick congratulating all of those on the 205 Live roster who were drafted over to Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SmackDown. He also announces that he and William Regal have made a deal that the members of 205 will begin competing on NXT and vice versa.

Commentators Tom Philips and Aiden English welcome us to a brand new episode of 205 Live! The first match of the night is announced!

Gentleman Jack Gallagher vs. The Brian Kendrick

Gallagher runs down to the ramp and starts the fight early. On the outside, Gallagher Irish Whips Kendrick into the barricade and then goes for the dropkick. Kendrick takes a kendo stick and smacks Gallagher with it. The bell has not rung just yet. Once both men get into the ring, the referee starts the match. Kendrick with an elbow strike right into Gallagher's back. Gallagher tries to get himself up, but isn't having any luck. Kendrick is in control. Kendrick puts Gallagher in a submission. He keeps striking Gallagher right in his ribs. Gallagher gets a window of opportunity with a belly-to-back suplex on the outside. They both crawl back into the ring. Gallagher with a dropkick off the top rope. Goes for the cover and Kendrick kicks out. Kendrick with a superkick, which leads into a Caption's Hook submission. Gallagher reveres with a pin, Kendrick kicks out. Kendrick fires back with a headbutt. Gallagher on the outside picks up the kendo stick. The referee warns him not to take a swing. Kendrick counters with Sliced Bread. Goes for the cover, and picks up the win!

Winner: Brian Kendrick

A video package of Angel Garza is shown. He will now be competing on 205 Live.

Up next, tag team action!

The Singh Brothers (Samir & Sunil) vs. Justin Alexander & Justin Morris

Samir and Alexander start up the match. Alexander puts Samir in a side headlock. Samir puts down Alexander. He tags in Sunil. Sunil off the second rope lands on Alexander. Sunil puts Alexander in a headlock. Alexander reverses with a chest chop. Alexander tags in Morris. Samir and Sunil plant a double superkick/side sweep on Morris. Samir on the top lands the Bollywood Blast. Goes for the cover, and gets the win!

Winners: The Singh Brothers

Post-Match: The Singh Brothers dance around the ring, celebrating their victory!

It's announced that the NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush will return next week to 205 Live.

And now, the main event!

Oney Lorcan vs. Tony Nese vs. Ariya Daivari

Daivari and Nese team together and kick Lorcan down to start the match off. Nese then takes the lead up throwing a few hits. A double clothesline from Nese and Daivari follows. Lorcan fights back and sends both Nese and Daivari to the outside. Nese gets back in the ring. Lorcan goes on the attack with an uppercut. Daivari makes his way into the ring only to pin Lorcan. Lorcan kicks out. Nese chest chops Lorcan and plants a few kicks. Daivari chest chops Nese. Lorcan with another uppercut on Daivari. Nese plants a dropkick right on Lorcan's face, goes for the cover, and Lorcan kicks out. Nese has Lorcan in a headlock. Lorcan tries to battle his way back. Gets a jawbreaker on Nese. Daivari comes in with a reverse DDT on Lorcan. Goes for the cover and Lorcan kicks out. Daivari puts Lorcan in the corner and applies several forearms and kicks. Daivari on the second rope jumps off only to be met with an uppercut. Nese comes back into the ring. Daivari and Nese decide to team up again and kick Lorcan while he's down. Nese and Daivari with a stalling suplex on Lorcan. Daivari from behind, turns on Nese with a back hit. Lorcan with an elbow on Daivari. Lorcan launches himself off the top rope on Daivari. He does it again in the ring and on the outside. All three men are back in the ring. Lorcan goes from corner to corner and attacks Nese and Daivari. Nese lands a springboard moonsault on Lorcan. Goes for the cover and Lorcan kicks out.

Nese knees Lorcan right in the chest. He goes to the top rope, jumps off, and tries to land a 450. Lorcan moves out of the way and plants a half-and-half on Nese. Goes for the cover and Daivari breaks the count. Daivari on the top rope. Nese with a palm strike. He meets him at the top turnbuckle. Lorcan dumps Nese on the outside. Lorcan with a superplex on Daivari. Nese comes back into the ring and slams Lorcan with a sunset driver. Goes for the cover and wins the match!

Winner: Tony Nese

Post-Match: Nese gets on one of the commentator's headsets and tells Rush congratulations for being the champ at the moment, but he is going to take back what's his.
